Creating a PODCAST

Project Requirements

  • Form teams of 2 or 3.
  • Choose a decade mentioned in the song. (See Heather)
  • Research with your team the section of the song that you chose. Find similar historical events or people from Canada.
  • Create a podcast to inform the class about your discoveries.

What needs to be in your podcast?

  • An introduction
  • Clear and concise information related to the song.
  • One element of Canadian History
  • Music in the background
  • Sign-off
**Be sure to make your podcast interesting for the listener. Be creative!
You do not have to use everything mentioned in the song...just the elements that interest you.

Project Goals:
  1. Initiation to Podcasts
  2. Familiarize students to Audacity
  3. Practice Speaking and Writing Texts
  4. Cultural and Historical Elements of the song
